African Shea Butter

AFRICAN SHEA BUTTER

Many people have healed their skin conditions by using African shea butter! Ours is directly from Togo, hand made shea butter extracted the traditional way without any solvents. It is unrefined, and has a slight smoky aroma from the roasting of the karite nuts.

For eczema treatment, use shea butter on the affected skin every night at bedtime. Cover with plastic wrap or gloves (if it is possible due to location). Reapply as needed during the day. You may experience an intensifying of symptoms for the first 10 days or so. After that the skin will begin to heal and soften.

Once you have used REAL African shea butter, you will be a convert forever! This beautiful butter is hand made by women in Togo, from the nuts of the karite tree. It is very unlike the shea butter one finds on the market that has been shipped to factories in Europe and extracted with hexane. This process removes all the color and the slightly smoky aroma, and also compromises the healing qualities of the shea butter.

Our natural shea butter is filled with life force, and so wonderful for skin. It can rehabilitate the worst skin conditions imaginable. It is high in vitamins A and E. It is used for treating burns, rashes, aging skin, and eczema. It creates a barrier for sun exposure, smog, and chemical pollutants, and is one of the few natural substances that provide UV protection. I love how this butter heals and prevents stretch marks for women during pregnancy.

When working with cement grout last year, I noticed the grout made my hands very rough and dry with some irritated red spots. I simply applied African shea butter twice a day and the skin on my hands healed miraculously over night.
