Hydrosol Safety

Herbal remedies offer a bridge from drug dependency to healthy, drug free living. To be honest about my personal opinion, I feel herbal remedies are most effective when used alone, consistently, and over a period of time.

In many cases that I have seen where people used them as a compliment to pharmaceutical drug treatment, the combination did not result in truly satisfying healing and regeneration. There are some exceptions to this that I have witnessed.

With this in mind, if you are inclined to try herbal remedies, I suggest that you use the hydrosols and herbal formulas on their own. If you choose to use them along with pharmaceutical drugs, do so only with awareness of what type of interactions could occur. Research the herbs and drugs you are taking, and do not take anyone else’s opinion (including your physician’s, and including your herbalist’s) as the truth. The most important step you can make in your own healing process is to assume the responsibility for your own health, and research is the first way to do it.

Physicians and health care providers can offer some guidance. However, often they may not have clear information about how these products interact with each other. Truthfully, there is little research to draw from for conclusive evidence. And nature’s vast variety in the production of herbs insures that no 2 herbs, even those grown in the same field, will be chemically identical. So though we can know the general tendencies of how the human body will respond to an herb, it is difficult to predict exactly how YOUR body will respond AT THIS TIME. Muscle testing and dowsing are two possible methods to obtain this information, and I do encourage people to use both muscle-testing (kinesiology) and dowsing as a part of their healing program whenever possible.

If you are taking herbs for the first time, you will need to remember that we are all different, and that herbs (and pharmaceutical drugs) do not always have the same effect on every person. You must stay in touch with your body and check in on a daily basis. No one else can be responsible for the health of your body, only you will live in it, and only you can tell if something is out of balance or not. Every person must make this very personal decision for him or herself, and it is best made with as much information as possible.

If you are healing a chronic dis-ease or condition, or an advanced condition such as cancer, do as much research as you can to find the Western medical information AND the alternatives. Use the information and your own tendencies to choose the unique healing path that is right for you. Remember that there are no guaranteed results from ANY form of treatment. The biggest factors in your healing are going to be:

1. FAITH in your chosen methods, your doctor, and his or her methods. If you don’t have this, you need to find one that you can trust and that supports your participation in the healing process. I can not emphasize this enough. This is essential.

2. YOUR PARTICIPATION in your healing. Commitment to doing the internal work and making the physical changes that are an essential part of the healing process will greatly influence your outcome.

3. SUPPORT. Surround yourself with people who believe in you, keep a positive outlook, and support your choices. You are vulnerable to be influenced by the negative feelings and doubt of those around you when you are recovering from an intense condition. Avoid contact of those who cause you to feel depressed, doubtful, or drained. You need to put yourself first at this time if you are going to manifest vibrant health and well-being. This is doubly essential if you are healing from many forms of cancer, in which the underlying pattern is one of putting the needs of others ahead of your own to an extreme.
