Parasite Cleansing and Detoxification

"Parasite" is a term used to identify any organism that invades and lives off of, of at the expense of, another organism. Parasites constantly excrete toxic waste and disrupt normal functioning of the organs, which stresses the body and wears down immunity. There are over 100 different types of parasites that effect humans, including roundworms, tapeworms, and many types of yeasts, fungus, and bacteria. Most of us have them to one degree or another, and parasites contribute to a number of health problems. For this reason, it is important to do an annual parasite cleanse, even if you think your body is pretty clean.

Some of the common symptoms associated with parasite infestation include, but are not limited to:

  • arthritis
  • diabetes
  • depression/anger/mood swings
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • itching
  • eating disorders
  • muscle spasms and pains
  • vaginitis
  • sweating and grinding teeth when sleeping
  • rashes and skin issues
  • shortness of breath
  • cancer (many tumors are parasites lumped together in a ball)
  • fever
  • headaches

Some common ways to get parasites include:

  • Work with the public
  • Eat out at restaurants
  • Eat sushi
  • Eat imported produce
  • Eat mainly refined foods
  • Eat commercially produced meats
  • Eat lots of fish
  • Eat commercially produced chicken
  • Have animals in your home
  • Travel
  • International travel
  • Drink alcohol or coffee regularly

In any parasite cleansing program, it is important to take an herbal product for at least 30 days, to ensure full elimination of both the parasites and their eggs.

We offer a number of Herbal Formulas to address parasites.

About Herbal Cleansing
Cleansing herbs initiate the body’s own elimination system to release accumulated toxins and waste products. The combination of herbs and oils in our Parasite Tea and Anti-Parasite Drops helps to rid the body of a broad spectrum of parasites, including intestinal parasites, lung and liver parasites, and cellular microscopic parasites.

This cleansing activity releases toxins that have been stored in cells into the bloodstream to be eliminated from the body. The eliminative organs, kidneys and bladder, lungs, skin, and colon (large intestine) each do their part in eliminating these substances from the body.

During this process, one may experience some mild cleansing symptoms such as headaches, achy joints or muscles, diarrhea, constipation, itchiness, or mild fatigue. These are signs that the cleansing program is working and are only temporary. As soon as the eliminative systems catch up with the cleansing process, the symptoms will disappear.

If you experience more intense cleansing symptoms, you are cleansing too quickly. This means the eliminative organs are not moving fast enough to clear the debris from your body as it is released from the cells. In this case it is necessary to drink fewer cups and smaller cups of Parasite Cleanse Tea for several days or until you feel the symptoms subside. Ordinarily it is best not to stop completely, since this is a strong signal that the body needs cleansing. Instead, take smaller amounts and fewer doses-perhaps one a day or one every other day, until the body adjusts to the cleansing process.

Cleansing and the Large Intestine
These formulas stimulate the body to expel parasites and cellular toxic accumulation. For this reason, it is best to drink plenty of water during the six week period. It is also important to keep the bowels moving so that toxins are eliminated quickly and easily from the body.

If you experience constipation any time while using the Parasite Cleanse Tea or Anti-Parasite Drop, here are some possible alternatives to provide relief:

  • Drink two or three glasses of prune juice in the morning.
  • For a stronger action, try making senna tea (available at health food stores). Let the tea steep for 10 minutes or longer. Its action becomes stronger the longer it steeps. (You will want to be near a bathroom for several hours after taking this tea for the first time, until you know how your body responds.)
  • Insert Herbal Boluses nightly (See Product List).
  • If the above measures fail to relieve constipation, you may consider having a colonic. Colonic irrigation will remove large amounts of toxicity from the colon at one time. For more information talk to your local colon therapist.
