Liver Flush Tea

Liver Flush Tea

Spring is the best time of year to flush your liver. If you have never done one before, do at least two flushes 10 days to 2 weeks apart. If you do one every year or two, one in the spring will often be sufficient for maintenance. Either way, if you see many stones in your stool, you will want to repeat it again in 2 weeks.

The only dietary requirements are as follows: Avoid coffee and very fatty foods (especially fried foods) while taking Liver Flush Tea and for a week or two afterward. Since nutrition is a factor in all regeneration efforts, dietary changes are necessary to experience full health and vitality in liver regeneration.

Liver flush tea contains fennel, fenugreek, star anise, flax seed, nutmeg, mint extract, and grapefruit peel extract.

One package will make 4 quarts, or serve one person for 8 days. We recommend taking the tea for 4 to 8 days for the first flush, and 4 days for any follow up flushes.

To make tea:
Add 2 T. loose tea to 1 qt. water. Simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Strain and add maple syrup or stevia as needed. Drink 1 to 2 cups in the morning, 1/2 hour before meals. Use for 7 days.

About Herbal Cleansing
Cleansing herbs initiate the body’s own elimination systems to release accumulated toxins and waste products. This combination of herbs helps to rid the liver and gall bladder of parasites and cellular toxicity.

This cleansing activity releases toxins that have been stored in cells into the bloodstream to be eliminated from the body. The eliminative organs, kidneys and bladder, lungs, skin, and colon (large intestine) each do their part in eliminating these substances from the body.

During this process, one may experience some mild cleansing symptoms such as headaches, achy joints or muscles, diarrhea, constipation, itchiness, or mild fatigue. These are signs that the cleansing program is working and are only temporary. As soon as the eliminative systems catch up with the cleansing process, the symptoms will disappear.

If you experience more intense cleansing symptoms, you are cleansing too quickly. This means the eliminative organs are not moving fast enough to clear the debris from your body as it is released from the cells. In this case it is necessary to drink fewer and smaller cups of Liver Flush Tea for several days or until you feel the symptoms subside. Ordinarily it is best not to stop completely, since this is a strong signal that the body needs cleansing. Instead, take smaller amounts and fewer doses-perhaps one a day or one every other day, until the body adjusts to the cleansing process.

Cleansing and the Large Intestine
As this formula stimulates the body to expel parasites and cellular toxic accumulation, it is best to drink plenty of water during the week of the flush. It is also important to keep the bowels moving so that toxins are eliminated quickly and easily from the body.

If you experience constipation any time while using the Liver Flush Tea, here are some possible alternatives to provide relief:

  • Drink two or three glasses of prune juice in the morning.
  • For a stronger action, try making senna tea (available at health food stores).   Let the tea steep for 10 minutes or longer. Its action becomes stronger the longer it steeps. (You will want to be near a bathroom for several hours after taking this tea for the first time, until you know how your body responds.)
  • Use Herbal boluses for men or women to relieve constipation.

HERBAL BOLUSES

If the above measures fail to relieve constipation, you may consider having a colonic. Colonic irrigation will remove large amounts of toxicity from the colon at one time. There are many options available, including home colonic equipment. For more details, see a colon therapist in your area.
