Pine Tar

PINE TAR
Pure, natural pine tar imported from Sweden provides a strong treatment for eczema and skin rashes. Apply pine tar to affected area and cover with saran wrap. Allow it to sit for 15 to 30 minutes, or over night if possible. Repeat this treatment again in 4 to 5 days. You should begin to see major improvement after the third treatment if pine tar is going to work for you.

I recommend using only pure shea butter on your skin between treatments. Do not use other products as they may interfere with the treatments. This treatment is messy but often works when nothing else will.

Swedish Pine Tar
Trees placed in a kiln are heated until the sap runs out. That sap is called pine tar. Our pine tar comes from Sweden, made from Pinus albus (White pine).

Many prefer pine tar to pine essential oil. It has been used for centuries as a remedy for psoriasis, eczema, and many skin disorders. If you have tried everything and nothing else has worked, try pine tar.

Pine tar detoxifies skin and nourishes lung qi (strengthening the respiratory system). For symptoms of cold and pneumonia, plaster pine tar on the chest and let it sit for 20 minutes with a hot towel over it.

The tar is very aromatic, with an aroma that reminds one of a campfire in the mountains. It is quite strong and does not wash out of clothing or towels, good to keep in mind when applying it.

A great circulatory system tonic, pine tar is a treatment for varicose veins and hemorrhoids. It may sting when applied to hemorrhoids. If you are using it for that purpose, apply only a small amount at first to see how you handle it. Often one treatment is all it takes to eliminate hemorrhoids.
